Oak Grove has been in conversation with Settled, an organization focused on solutions for people experiencing homelessness. Settled partners with faith communities to invite neighbors permanently out of homelessness and into full community through intentional tiny home villages called Sacred Settlements.

As we continue our discernment about the potential for a Sacred Settlement on the property of Oak Grove, we want to provide several options for the congregation to get more information and ask questions.

Town Hall Meeting on Housing, Sunday, March 16: following worship (on-site only)

Additionally, we will introduce the “Yes to Homes” campaign and how you can encourage Minnesota legislators to vote for bills designed to bring opportunities for more affordable housing to Hennepin County. Pizza will be provided.

Tuesday, March 18: 6:30–7:30/8:00 pm (via Zoom only)

Thursday, March 27: 6:30–8:00 pm (on-site only)

Each session will share the same information, and you are welcome to come to one or all of the sessions. Please make an effort to attend one of these sessions to learn more about the possibility of a Sacred Settlement and to ask any questions you may have.
