    Pat Wilson has been a secretary at Oak Grove for over 9 years. Pat is the "go to" person in the church office for all matters concerning the operation of the church. She coordinates all schedules, answers endless emails, and maintains church records. She has been married to Alex for over 40 years. Together they have 4 children and 10 grandchildren. They live in Prior Lake which is close to their grandchildren. Pat has had many diverse jobs. She has spent time in Washington DC, Japan, the Air Force, and with the Federal Aviation Agency. We are blessed to have Pat on our staff.

    Financial Manager

    Barb lives in Bloomington, close to Moir Park. She has 3 grown children, 7 grandchildren and one great grandson. They all live in the metro and greater Minnesota area. Barb's past work experience includes many positions in the accounting and financial management area with special interest in the auto industry. When Barb is not working she loves to garden, sew and provide childcare for her family. She describes herself as a professional "Putzer", with lots of projects around the house going at one time. Barb has a contagious smile and a very positive attitude about life. Oak Grove is blessed to have Barb as part of our staff.

    Music Coordinator

    Judy Cooper has been part of Oak Grove fellowship and staff since the early 80's. She has directed the Chancel Choir for over 20 years and has certainly been a gift to Oak Grove. With her outstanding musical talent and positive attitude, she has made singers out of all of us. It is at Oak Grove that she met Jack and they were married shortly thereafter. They spent many wonderful years together sharing their lives and gifts of music with the Oak Grove community. During the Summer of 2005 Judy assumed the role of music coordinator at Oak Grove. She meets regularly with the other staff members to assure that our music selections are supportive of the worship experience. Thank you Judy for your wonderful gift of music to Oak Grove.

    Organist

    Nancy has been the organist at Oak Grove for over 20 years. She is always there on Sunday mornings to start the service and lead us in song. She has also performed at countless funerals, weddings and other church related events. Nancy is the accompanist for the chancel choir and is present at all of the rehearsals. She and her husband Darwin have two children, Colin and Darby, that keep them very busy outside of church. Nancy has shared many of her outstanding gifts with Oak Grove and we are very blessed to have her as part of our fellowship and staff.

    Communications Coordinator

    Penny lives in Prior Lake. She is married to Bob Nesbitt and they have been members of Oak Grove since 1982. They have two children, Heather who is married to Dave and Greg who is married to Brooke. Penny has lived in the area her whole life. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and then taught in Bloomington until retiring in 2005. In her spare time she enjoys being at the cabin, reading, stamping, Sudoku puzzles, goofing around on the computer, and being with friends and family.

  • Karen HillKaren HillKaren Hill
    Nursery Care Provider

    If you have small children or find yourself in or near the church nursery, you will spot Karen Hill, our childcare provider, surrounded with children and making each one feel special. Karen lives in Bloomington with her husband, Scooter, who is a mail carrier in Minneapolis. She grew up and attended school in Bloomington. After she met and married her husband, they moved to Eden Prairie for 13 years. They have since moved back to Bloomington, where they live close to their work and family. Karen and her husband have two children, both of whom are in college. During the week Karen likes to babysit for her friends and family in their homes. It is obvious that Karen loves children and enjoys their company. Karen's spare time is filled with sewing, crafts and scrap-booking. It is a blessing having Karen as part of the Oak Grove staff.

    Evening Watchperson

    Kevin grew up in Eagan and graduated from Eagan High School. He currently works full-time in Roseville for a major auto finance company. Kevin has an apartment in Little Canada, but makes his way down to Oak Grove most every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday night. During the summer he enjoys getting outdoors and mountain biking, while in the winter he spends his time playing his Xbox 360 and downhill skiing. If you happen to be at Oak Grove on one of the evenings when Kevin is around, say hello!
